Nicholls State University, located in Thibodaux, Louisiana, is in the heart of bayou country. Where students are guided by faculty known worldwide who help you succeed. Nicholls is committed to giving you the best possible education with a personal touch. Nicholls Chi Alpha is here to help you succeed on campus as well! We are here to help you grow spiritually during your time in college. We focus on personal discipleship while also being a Godly community on campus. Our vision is to reconcile the students of Nicholls State to Jesus, and with your help, we can do it! Cecil & Kyla Ellis serve as campus pastors along with Brandon Cole, Danae Williams and Amber Peltier.

Cecil and Kayla are the Chi Alpha Directors at Nicholls State University. They have three children Eryn (10), Payson(10), and Sawyer(6) who all love to cheer on the Colonels at sporting events! Cecil and Kayla both graduated from Nicholls and have a deep rooted love for the campus and want to see Jesus transform the lives of the students there. They also both have a deep love of coffee, camping, and playing board games.
