It all started when…
Louisiana Tech is a school with a rich history nestled in North Louisiana in the small town of Ruston. Chi Alpha at Louisiana Tech started in the 1970s. In 1993, it was restarted with a full time staff and continues today, serving the LA Tech community. Today Jenni Weiss is the campus pastor. Jenni is joined this year by Brittany Reynaud, Malori & Logan Sims. We connect with students at XA Live, our weekly service where students experience powerful worship and Biblical teaching. Students are encouraged to live life together in Life Groups. These are small group Bible studies that meet across the campus in the school's dorms and apartments. Chi Alpha exists at Louisiana Tech to reconcile students to Christ. We desire to see students become life long followers of Jesus and make a difference in the world wherever they go.

Jenni Weiss
God has uniquely gifted and placed us at Louisiana Tech. Jennifer is the director and her husband, Leland, is a mechanical engineering professor. Jennifer served with Chi Alpha at Washington State University before moving to Louisiana. They came to Louisiana Tech from Washington State and have served the University since 2008. Leland and Jennifer also have a son named Joshua who is the life of the party. The family is passionate about loving and making a difference in the lives of university students, faculty and staff at Tech.
