It all started when…
McNeese State University is home to about 5,500 students representing primarily Southwest Louisiana and east Texas. This great university is known for its excellence in engineering and education. McNeese State Chi Alpha puts a heavy emphasis on training future student leaders in small group discipleship as well as relational evangelism which we feel best prepares them for full time missions or church planting upon graduation and at the very least invaluable skills for reaching others effectively in the marketplace for those not entering in full time ministry. In addition, we have a weekly large group service, international student focus, bold contact gospel sharing with non-Christians on campus and of course yearly foreign/stateside mission trips. Tony & Lindsay Jones serve as campus pastors.

Justin & Amber Mullins
Justin and Amber took over the ministry at McNeese Chi Alpha on June 1, 2025. They met in Chi Alpha at Nicholls State University, and have experienced God’s guidance as they made their move to Lake Charles. Justin and Amber have a deep love of culture and have a heart to reach students from all over the world.
